All the glass at number8glass is made by me, Katherine. I began working with glass about 8 years ago and now work full time in my studio in Tollerton near Nottingham.
Most of the glass you will see on this website is fused - this picture shows my kiln loaded and ready for firing - but I also produce traditional stained glass windows and panels, and work in the copper foil technique which allows you to produce delicate and intricate three dimensional items.
If you don't see what you are looking for on the site, visit the commissions page and contact me to talk about making something specific to meet your exact requirements (and budget!).
Glass is best appreciated when handled, so keep an eye on this page as I will list the art and craft fairs where I will be exhibiting. Bring along a print out of this page and I will give you a 10% discount as a thank you for your support. |
